This was a piece I wrote about the challenges I faced as a new writer with little kids and how I learned to navigate them. As I sit and write today, those challenges still exist. My family has grown from 3 kids to 4 😅, and my once young kids are growing into big kids. But they are not the only ones experiencing growth. I feel I have grown as well.

Meet Daniel. A young 🇭🇹 Haitian boy 🏃🏾💨who was forced from his home country by gang violence, only to land in one of the roughest neighborhoods in Miami. With no guidance, legal documentation, or a desire to go home, Daniel is just one slight mishap from being shipped back overseas. But unbeknownst to him, he is about to stumble upon an ancient artifact that could answer all his prayers.
